You need to reset the throttle. It involves the ignition and the gas pedal and waiting a certain amount of time. Worked for mine, but I don't remember the exact procedure. probably key to ON position engine OFF, and some combination of the pedal to the floor for some minimum amount of time

Hi guys, so I'm experiencing the exact same issue with my b6 3c Passat 2.0 TDI 2009 model. Had a long drive today to another town, whenever I drove on an uphill road, the car went on limp mode. Basically, no power and the speed dropped from 110km\h -> 50km\h where the car was able to keep going without any more reduction in speed.
